Tributes speak to things that have left an important mark on
your life. They can be people, places, pets, moments you remember forever that
you want to share with the world.
I know that in my own life, I have been lucky to have met and
talked to people I will never forget. I met Barry Manilow and asked him about
the music venture we are trying so hard to accomplish at Bright Lights and he
agreed that it's hard...but he also said..don't give up. So that gives me
HOPE.
My mom was the kindest person I will ever know, she and my
dad taught me how important it is to care about others and help whenever you
have the chance. I miss them both so much. What they taught me was to BELIEVE
in miracles and the goodness of others...
My parents were born on the beautiful island of Glace Bay Nova
Scotia, Canada...a place that is so very close to my heart...I could write about
times spent there for hours.
And I love my dogs...such unconditional love in return. No
matter what the day brings...they are there and look at you like you were the
greatest thing that ever happened to them.
I know everyone has special people places and things in their
life and they would like the whole world to know how important those things
are...and that's what this page is all about. Write what's in your heart and we
will post it for you.
A month ago I lost my beautiful cousin Trish to a tragic car
accident . She was on her way to work in New Jersey and within minutes from her
house...she was gone...just gone. She was an incredible person to so many
people, she was someone I love and look up to so my first tribute is to
her.
I hope that everyone that writes on this page finds a place
for their own hearts expression.
To my absolutely beautiful
cousin Trish...in my life I will never know anyone as kind and giving
as you...I can't believe you were taken away so suddenly this past June. Its still so hard to
understand... but we turn to
God. I think of you everyday and will always love you and miss you so very much. God Bless Frank and Elaine and our whole family as we pray for your husband Bobby and children
Nikki, Bryan and Lindsay.

Catherine A. Minderlein
My Mom, Catherine A. Minderlein, passed away on April 5,
2001, the worst day of my life......but I thank God every day for the time he
gave me with her. She was a very private person (and would be upset knowing I
am even writing this tribute, not to mention posting her photo). She sacrificed
so much for her 5 children throughout her entire life, with no complaints, and
it was extra hard for her since she lost my Dad to a heart attack at age 54 (Mom
was 53), and we were all pretty young. I am so proud to say I was named after
my Mom, so I am truly blessed to carry her name. Mom, I loved you more than you
ever knew and will continue loving you until I take my last breath. May the
angels be protecting you and Dad, as well as your parents and the rest of our
relatives and friends. Loving you forever, Cathy - Baltimore, MD
Robert F. Dolloff
My Tribute is to my Dad, Robert F. Dolloff who left us too early, he was the
"rock" in my life and I miss him very much. He took the news of cancer with a
brave face, but soon the cancer took him from us. I miss his funny stories and
his New Hampshire accent, he was a great dad,g randpa, and friend. He fought hard
to beat cancer. He is greatly missed by me, Josh, Tyler and Colby. Everytime I
see a penny on the ground I think my dad has sent me a penny from heaven!
