From: Christmas In Connecticut - I

CHRISTMAS IN CONNECTICUT

For today is born a savior, a child of peace and light
On my knees I look to heaven, this oh so Holy night

Christmas in Connecticut
Is where I want to be
Snow kisses rolling meadows
The moon shines on the sea
A child is born and there is hope for you and me
Love for you and me

Our villages and towns consider
All are welcome here
Bring the stories of your life time
All we want to hear

We’ll share the seasons joys and sorrows
With our laughter and our tears
Each will show us more about
The reason we are here

Christmas in Connecticut
Is where I want to be
Snow kisses rolling meadows,
The moon shines on the sea
A child is born and there is hope for you and me
Love for you and me
Love for you and me

Perfomed by Allison Demers
Words: Judy Lemay  Music: Jared Lamenzo, Judy Lemay

SEASON OF PEACE

Did you know
There are miracles everywhere
Faces of friends sharing a gift
Traditions of every sacred walk of life
Bring us hope for a season of peace

Did you know
Every holiday spirit
Finds a home in each open heart
Believe in yourself and care for others
As together we hope for a season of peace

In any world of human strife
There is a wrong and right
We can choose our words and actions everyday
Make a difference to your friends
Help family quarrels mend
It’s the meaning of true peace this holiday

Did you know
You are counted as special
In each and every step that you take
Fill the season with love and compassion
As we hope for a season of peace

Together we hope for a season of Peace

Performed by Cassandra Kubinski
Words: Judy Lemay  Music: Jared Lamenzo, Judy Lemay

SPEAK TO ME OF HOPE

There are so many gifts I could give you
Tis the season shoppers start
Searching for the perfect treasure
But this Christmas I look to my heart

I want to give you something that will last
See your pretty face light up the day
Is there a spell that I can cast
T
hat will keep us friends forever and always

Speak to me of hope
Can you tell me about joy
Show me what it means to truly find
A heart this holiday that knows just what to say
And cares enough that all our words are kind

If you tell me everything I say does really matter
I will give you all the words that I can find
Help me to believe it is in giving we receive
On this holiday and till the end of time

Speak to me of hope
Can you tell me about joy
Show me what it means to truly find
A heart this holiday that knows just what to say
And cares enough that all our words are kind

In my life it is my gift that you are kind

Performed by Cassandra Kubinski
Words: Judy Lemay  Music: Jared Lamenzo, Jason Stammen, Judy Lemay

From: Christmas In Connecticut - II

The Mystic Christmas Moon

I walk to the sea, every Christmas Eve
Sneak down the path, t
o see the majesty
Of ships so tall, calling out to me
And its here
that I dream

In the Mystic Christmas moon
I always find my heart
Reflecting on a story yet to be
This Christmas Mystic Moon
Unwraps in silver ribbons
The gift to believe in what you cannot see

The harbor lights, shine brilliantly
Upon this village, by the Sea
Better head for home, before anyone misses me
But there is no other place, I’d rather be

In the Mystic Christmas moon
I always find my heart
Reflecting on a story yet to be
This Christmas Mystic MoonUnwraps in silver ribbons
The gift to believe in what you cannot see

The hope in a strangers face
In Gods Amazing Grace
The chance to reach what your heart dares to dream

In the Mystic Christmas moon
My soul is so full
Of every promise God has kept for me
I’m filled with the love that shines from above
There is light…There is hope… in the Mystic Christmas moon

Performed by Scot Haney
Words: Judy Lemay  Music: John Bergeron

A State of Gratitude

Family and friends arrive for another celebration
The air is full of faithful expectation
I watch the door wishing you’d appear
And set your place that’s been empty all this year

I can’t believe how much you’ve grown, you are so strong
I love your willingness to right what you see wrong
Living your ideals with such devotion
I’m overcome with such emotion

And when my light goes out each night I kiss your picture
Next to a candle lit in love and solitude
I send every prayer I know to God who’ll hold you
And keep you safe through every mission you pursue
In a state of gratitude, for you

Such sacrifice for fellow man
To lay down ones life for a friend
I clench my fists with tears yet I know
That God can’t hold my hand till I let go

And when my light goes out each night I kiss your picture
Next to a candle lit in love and solitude
I send every prayer I know to God who’ll hold you
And keep you safe through every mission you pursue
In a state of gratitude, for you

Performed by Nichelle Rollins
Words: Judy Lemay  Music: Jared Lamenzo, Wendy Quinn, Judy Lemay

A Stable Song

Brisk was the night, a
s the bright morning light
Shines on the stable, c
overed in snow

This New England Christmas
In all its beauty remembers a stable
Long long ago

Chorus
All of Gods creatures in wonder reside
In a stable where horses are waiting to ride
Through fresh Christmas snow glistening and grand
In awe of the gift of a promised land

Meadows are still i
n glorious chill
Awaiting the winter birds f
irst morning song

Blanketed horses, w
ander in wonder
Our tracks tell the story o
f this Christmas morn

Repeat Chorus

This beautiful horse carries me with concern
And wants nothing more than my love in return
As in humble stable where the Holy Birth
Bore the gift of such love for each other on earth

Day turns toward night a
s the stable in sight
Welcomes us back
‘fore darkness arrives

The horses will rest now as we are blessed now
The peace of this Christmas and this holy night

Repeat Chorus

Performed by Cassandra Kubinski
Words: Judy Lemay  Music: Jared Lamenzo, Wendy Quinn, Judy Lemay

For Every Season
(For the Children of 'Will Santa Find Me')

My son asked to bring a new friend home to play
He’s very sad… even tried to run away
And this is what he told my son today

I am afraid
I don’t know if my prayers are heard
My mom’s alone… and never speaks more than a word
While all my friends
are making Christmas lists this year
I wonder if
Santa will find me here

I watched my son grab some thing underneath his bed
He gave his friend a seashell that he had
There’s snow outside but listen to the sea
For every season God can be with you and me

Don’t be afraid
Your every hope and dream is heard
There is someone that hears your every thought and word
And you will see
For every season there’s a reason
In all we do
Know God always loves you

In these two boys I saw hope and destiny
As they wrapped the seashell for his tree

The gift he gave brought his mom hope and dreams anew
When asked about the gifts shiny and new
She said Santa must know God the way you do

Performed by Wendy Quinn
Words: Judy Lemay  Music: Jared Lamenzo, Wendy Quinn, Judy Lemay

A Lighthouse Keepers Christmas

Waves were splashing
Lights were flashing too
Wintry Connecticut waters
Dance in the light of the December moon

The lighthouse Keeper sees everyone safe in a storm
The lighthouse Keeper sees sailors get home safe and warm

We are safe--------------------------
This Christmas night--------------------

A storm is coming
Cold is numbing
Wind is blowing
Boats are rowing
Seals are dancing
Waves are prancing
On the coast tonight
(Skip 2)

Fog rolls in
Like a milkshake
As the storm
Starts to break
(Skip 2)

Harbor seals
Eight in number
Wave to him
Knowing under
His direction
Came protection
All are safe tonight

Waters calm now
All is well again
Connecticut Lighthouse Keeper
Waves to say
Merry Christmas …Friends

Performed by Miss Debra Dondzik's 2007 Kindergarden Class - Orange CT
Words: adapted from Childrens Story by Judy Lemay  Music: Jared Lamenzo
